MAGNUM FENCE – HURRICANE PROTECTION & REMOVAL SERVICE AGREEMENT

Protect Your Investment Before the Storm

At Magnum Fence, we understand that your fence is an important investment. Our Hurricane Protection Service is designed to help minimize potential damage during severe weather conditions by offering a structured and professional removal and reinstallation process.

1. Service Overview

In the event of a forecasted hurricane or severe storm impacting the installation area, Magnum Fence offers a pre-storm fence removal service to reduce the risk of damage to your fence and surrounding property.

2. Written Notice Requirement

To activate this service, the customer must submit a written request to Magnum Fence clearly stating the intention to remove the fence due to an approaching hurricane or severe weather event.

3. Advance Notice Policy

A minimum of five (5) days’ notice is required prior to the anticipated impact of the storm.

Requests submitted with less than five (5) days’ notice cannot be guaranteed or honored, due to scheduling and safety limitations.

4. Scheduling & Priority

All removal services will be scheduled based on:

Order of requests received

Storm severity and projected path

Crew availability and safety conditions

Magnum Fence reserves the right to prioritize projects accordingly to ensure safe and efficient operations.

5. Scope of Work

The Hurricane Protection Service includes:

• Professional removal of designated fence sections

• Safe handling and temporary storage (if applicable)

• Protection measures to minimize property damage

Note: This service applies only to fences installed by Magnum Fence unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Customer Responsibility

The customer agrees to:

• Provide clear access to the work area

• Remove any obstacles (vehicles, furniture, landscaping items, etc.)

• Confirm property boundaries if necessary

Failure to provide proper access may delay or void the service.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Magnum Fence is not responsible for any damage to the fence or property if:

• The customer fails to provide proper notice

• The request is made outside the required timeframe

• Weather conditions prevent safe removal

Additionally, once a storm warning is active and conditions become unsafe, services may be suspended.

8. Reinstallation Service

After the storm has passed and conditions are deemed safe, Magnum Fence will:

• Contact the customer to schedule reinstallation

• Inspect materials for damage

• Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements if needed

Reinstallation services are not included unless specified and may be subject to additional cost.

9. Service Fees

Hurricane Protection Services are offered as:

• A pre-paid seasonal plan, or

• A per-service emergency request, subject to availability

Pricing will vary depending on fence type, size, and project complexity.

10. Force Majeure

Magnum Fence shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, government restrictions, or emergency orders.
